Avec ses paysages luxuriants et des conditions  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">climatiques favorables<\/span>, le <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Cameroun<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">est devenu l&rsquo;un des principaux producteurs<\/span> de <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">cacao<\/span> en <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Afrique<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">parmi les nations de ce continent. C&rsquo;est le 5 <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u00e8me<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">plus grand producteur au monde avec<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">une production de 295 028 tonnes par an (en 2023).<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-main-rotation=\"0\">D\u00e9couvrez \u00e9galement la <a href=\"https:\/\/old.cocoacircle.com\/fr\/colombie-et-cacao\/\">Production de Cacao en Colombie<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Kumasi est une ville du Cameroun avec une \u00e9conomie ax\u00e9e sur le cacao. C&rsquo;est \u00e9galement le  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">nom de marque d&rsquo;un projet innovant sur le cacao lanc\u00e9 par la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision n\u00e9erlandaise <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, cr\u00e9\u00e9 par le cr\u00e9ateur Lars Gierveld. Kumasi Drinks est n\u00e9 lors de la r\u00e9alisation d&rsquo;un  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">documentaire sur l&rsquo;industrie du cacao dans la r\u00e9gion d&rsquo;Ashanti au Ghana. La  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">capitale de cette r\u00e9gion est Kumasi. De nombreux agriculteurs d\u00e9pendent totalement du  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">commerce du cacao, mais ils vivent en dessous du seuil de pauvret\u00e9. Cela doit changer,  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, pens\u00e8rent Lars Gierveld et son \u00e9quipe. C&rsquo;est pourquoi ils ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 collecter  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">du jus de fruit de cacao avec un groupe d&rsquo;agriculteurs pr\u00e8s de Kumasi. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, le jus de cacao Kumasi  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">est disponible dans de nombreux magasins aux Pays-Bas et g\u00e9n\u00e8re un revenu suppl\u00e9mentaire de<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">30 % pour les agriculteurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">L&rsquo;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">origine du cacao au Cameroun<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">remonte \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque coloniale, notamment<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">sous la domination allemande puis fran\u00e7aise. Pendant cette p\u00e9riode, la culture du cacao  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">a pris de l&rsquo;importance en tant que culture commerciale. Les puissances europ\u00e9ennes ont reconnu la  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">valeur \u00e9conomique du cacao et ont encourag\u00e9 sa culture en vue de l&rsquo;exportation.<\/span><br \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Le climat tropical et les sols fertiles du Cameroun \u00e9taient propices \u00e0 la culture du cacao, <\/span><br \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ce qui a conduit \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tablissement de plantations de cacao dans toute la r\u00e9gion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu son ind\u00e9pendance en 1960,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">l&rsquo;industrie du cacao du Cameroun<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">a \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9e<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u00e0 divers d\u00e9fis. Le pays a rencontr\u00e9 des probl\u00e8mes tels que des pratiques agricoles  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">inefficaces, une infrastructure insuffisante et des prix fluctuants sur le march\u00e9 <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">mondial. Malgr\u00e9 ces d\u00e9fis, le cacao est rest\u00e9 un \u00e9l\u00e9ment crucial  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">du paysage agricole, offrant des moyens de subsistance \u00e0 de nombreux agriculteurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">La Production de Cacao au Cameroun<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">La culture du cacao au Cameroun est concentr\u00e9e dans plusieurs r\u00e9gions, notamment <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">le Sud-Ouest, le Littoral, l&rsquo;Ouest et le Centre. La g\u00e9ographie  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">et le climat uniques de ces r\u00e9gions cr\u00e9ent des conditions id\u00e9ales pour les cacaoyers, leur permettant <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">de prosp\u00e9rer et de produire des f\u00e8ves de haute qualit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Une grande partie de<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">la production de cacao du Cameroun<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">provient de petits exploitants agricoles<br \/><\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">qui g\u00e8rent des parcelles de taille modeste. Ces agriculteurs contribuent de mani\u00e8re significative \u00e0  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">la production totale de cacao, ce qui refl\u00e8te la nature d\u00e9centralis\u00e9e de <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">l&rsquo;industrie. Cependant, des d\u00e9fis tels que l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s limit\u00e9 aux ressources et \u00e0  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">la technologie persistent pour bon nombre d&rsquo;entre eux.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">La m\u00e9thode traditionnelle de<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">production de cacao au Cameroun<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">implique une culture manuelle<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, les agriculteurs prenant soin de leurs arbres avec attention. De nombreuses exploitations  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">utilisent des techniques d&rsquo;agroforesterie, associant le cacao \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres cultures comme <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">les plantains et les bananes. Cela permet non seulement d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer la biodiversit\u00e9, mais aussi  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">de fournir des sources de revenu suppl\u00e9mentaires pour les agriculteurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Les D\u00e9fis de l&rsquo;Industrie du Cacao au Cameroun<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Malgr\u00e9 sa pr\u00e9\u00e9minence,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">l&rsquo;industrie du cacao du Cameroun<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">fait face \u00e0 de nombreux<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">d\u00e9fis.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">L&rsquo;un des probl\u00e8mes majeurs est la pr\u00e9valence du travail des enfants dans certaines<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">r\u00e9gions productrices de cacao. Des efforts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette pr\u00e9occupation \u00e0 travers  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">des initiatives visant \u00e0 promouvoir des pratiques de travail \u00e9thiques et de meilleures <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">conditions de travail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Un autre d\u00e9fi est l&rsquo;impact des maladies sur les cacaoyers.<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"> Les ravageurs et<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"> les infections fongiques, comme la maladie du pod noir, peuvent d\u00e9vaster les r\u00e9coltes de cacao<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, entra\u00eenant une baisse des rendements. Des efforts de recherche et de d\u00e9veloppement sont  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">en cours pour trouver des solutions durables, y compris des <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">vari\u00e9t\u00e9s de cacao r\u00e9sistantes aux maladies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">De plus, des pr\u00e9occupations existent concernant la d\u00e9forestation dans certaines<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">zones de production de cacao. \u00c0 mesure que les agriculteurs cherchent de nouvelles terres pour les plantations et <\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">la production<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"> de cacao<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, cela peut entra\u00eener une d\u00e9gradation de l&rsquo;environnement.<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"> Les pratiques agricoles durables<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"> et les initiatives visant \u00e0 promouvoir la conservation des for\u00eats cherchent \u00e0 att\u00e9nuer <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ces probl\u00e8mes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">L&rsquo;industrie du cacao du Cameroun<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">est influenc\u00e9e par les dynamiques du march\u00e9 mondial,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">y compris les fluctuations des prix du cacao. L&rsquo;\u00e9conomie du pays est  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">interconnect\u00e9e avec le march\u00e9 mondial du chocolat, et les variations de la demande <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">et des prix peuvent impacter les moyens de subsistance des agriculteurs de cacao. Des efforts sont en cours pour stabiliser  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">les prix et garantir une r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration \u00e9quitable pour les agriculteurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Programmes de Certification<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\" data-main-rotation=\"0\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Les programmes de certification, tels que Fair Trade et Rainforest Alliance, ont<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"> gagn\u00e9 en popularit\u00e9 au <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Cameroun,<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">. These programs aim to ensure fair wages for   <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">en encourageant les agriculteurs \u00e0 adopter des pratiques environnementalement durables et \u00e0 \u00e9liminer <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">le travail des enfants. Les agriculteurs qui participent \u00e0 ces programmes re\u00e7oivent une formation  <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">et un soutien pour respecter les normes de certification, am\u00e9liorant ainsi<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">la durabilit\u00e9 globale de<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">la production de cacao<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\"
